On June 2, the 6th Paris International Wine Exhibition kicked off at the Paris Stock Exchange.As a representative of China-made wines, Great Wall attended the exhibition for the first time. The Riesling dry white from Great Wall's Sungod Chateau was proclaimed by La Revue du Vin de France (RVF) magazine as the 2012 Best White Wine from China.This marked the greater popularity of China-made wines on the international stage, where they were highly acclaimed.
Sponsored by RVF magazine, the Paris International Wine Exhibition is one of the largest professional wine exhibitions in France. This year’s exhibition was the biggest in its history, attracting hundreds of wine makers, and nearly 10,000 wine professionals and wine buffs from around the world. 10 Chinese wines, with Great Wall’s Sungod Chateau at the helm, were major attractions at the exhibition.In April this year, RVF magazine organized an RVF China wine selection. The white wine from Great Wall's Sungod Chateau quickly came to the fore and beat more than 100 rivals to win the favor of more than 10 wine experts from China and France. It was ultimately awarded the silver medal in the white wine category.
At the Paris International Wine Exhibition, Great Wall Wines were well received by professionals, which helped secure a better position for Chinese wines generally and enhanced the upward progression of oriental wines on the international stage.
