China Foods’ primary water source is municipal tap water. In response to the growing global water stress, China Foods has elevated water stewardship to a strategic priority and established a dedicated water governance framework. The ESG Committee holds overarching responsibility for the formulation and oversight of the water stewardship strategy, ensuring that water-related issues are fully integrated into China Foods’ highest governance structure. Day‑to‑day water management, project implementation, technical support, and operational guidance are delegated to the Safety and Environmental Department, which reports to the ESG Committee on a quarterly basis.
